Offline | Quad Driving Lights + Bonnet Stripes For Sydney Siders Hi Guys I am ANXIOUSLY waiting for my black on black 2005 Mini Cooper S Chilli which arrives next week on FRIDAY!!! I am just wondering if there are any Australian companies that have the Driver's Edge bonnet + Roof + Rear stripe??? And if so how much?? Also and more importantly.. I have just got a quote from miniparts.au for the quad driving lamps for $600!! Is this reasonable or is there any other companies able to do a better price? AND.. can you guys tell me other aftermarket models and their quality?? Any help would be great! Thanx in advance |

Offline | Firstly, welcome to the site Any stripe fitter/decal joint should be able to set you up with your stripes - that said, try a PM to user 'Boo' on this site. They run Ozicozi, and do clear car bras, and decal/stripe work etc for MINIs ![]() $600 for 4 lights sounds pretty reasonable. As Smurf has said above, the genuine BMW items are priced at roughly $760 a pair. - Global Moderator - MY BLOG - Global Procrastinator - ![]() ... Offline | i've got the minisport lights & lightbar from miniparts.com.au & paid $620 incl. shipping, you may be able to save a little ordering direct from minisport.com... the instructions are easy to follow & it'll take ~1/2 day to fit at home |

Offline | jeesus that much for the OEMs? thats expensive.. hrmm the problem ordering from minisport com is the wait from overseas.. i just gotta wait a day or 2 for the ones from aus. How about the Hella FF200s?? If they come in a pack of 2, will buying 2 packs fit? Or they come in packs of 4? |

Offline | What about the Alta light bar? These look pretty cool, (with the aero kit anyway), and are a bit different, sitting in front of the lower grill. It looks to be very well designed but I don't know if the placement would cause any issues, or if it's just not traditional... ![]() Euro Styles East in the US has pretty good pricing on this (US$370), or alternatively, you could just buy the bar (US$180) & source some lights in OZ if U prefer. Offline | Hi all Firstly those yellow quad lights would have to be the ugliest things ive ever seen, sorry. I am in the process of ordering lights and have the twin set on my first mini and they r unreal, i dont know why nobody uses them, i do mine r hooked up to highbeam and they look damn impressive, good for possum spotting. BMW quote for twin set $950. They also said this involves four hour for fitting as i myself r thinking of ordering a set for my new cabriolette and was interested in the time factor in case i buy different ones and get them to fit them. Have ordered from minisports in the uk and they r good but wait feels like eternity, started to stress, didnt think they would ever arrive. Have tried to source quads from usa but only minisports stocks them. So good luck shopping and hope to see you at the pie with your new purchase Ann ![]() |

Offline | Hey, no probs - I'm not particularly fond of the yellow either. Naturally, they are available in crystal white also, just couldn't find any sample pics on a car... Try to visualise these on there instead. ![]() ![]() |

| Still kickin' along | Ann..just so you know...my dealer quoted me just under $700 for OEM Lights fitted.... or $500 for the lights and you can fit them yourself - but you can't program the 'puter yourself... I saw some really cheap ones...and asked about them in here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...ighlight=S%2Fe Link direct to minisport: http://www.minisport.com/new-mini-sh...t-product.html Didn't get much of a response though... |
