Hi can anyone tell me if I fit white lights and white third brake light, do you need to fit reflectors in the bumper? cheers

I have fitted some small red door reflectors on the bumper mesh - much neater

The answer is Yes, but theres NO regulation on how big those reflectors have to be.

Yes, but when I fitted mine I just bought some small stick on reflectors from halfords and bunged those on the black plastic part at the bottom of the bumper

i had little reflectors on my old bumper but still aint got round to puttin them on aero bumper which was fitted 6 months ago. been stopped by the police a couple of times for other matters and they've never mentioned the lack of reflectors tho.

yeah, i guess if you're going to get clocked doing 140 odd in an audi rs6, the lack of red reflectors is probably small fry in comparison

When opting for the clear cluster pack from new (upper brake light and rear clusters), these (pic of my MCS) are the official reflectors that BMW hack into the bumper...

imho they look darn silly and I will be addressing this issue reeeeeeal soon!

anyone selling a black MCS rear bumper? (pm me)

i'm a little surprised your dealer did that. When I asked for my clear lights and mentioned about those ridiculous big things that needed to be inserted into the bumper, he said he wouldn't be happy to do it, and that sorting out the red reflectors would be my responsibility... Guess he realised after all the other things I tortured him about, I wouldn't be a happy bunny with those (and he'dve been right!)

Keep an eye out on ebay, there are always bumpers and stuff up for sale. Good luck

sorry to off topic but i'd just like to point out i was in the passenger seat when this happened

as far as the official reflectors r concerned, i wudnt have em on my car. ebays ur best bet.
