Stainless mesh bumper inserts rusting !

I installed some stainless steel mesh inserts for the rear bumper from mini mania about 8 days ago, today i noticed small rust spots developing on them ! Has anyone installed these and notices the same ? Can anyone suggest a way to prenet this, perhaps some kind of clear coat ?

Unhappy

I would go back to the supplier immediately.
Stainless Steel does not rust.
The only way Stainless can exhibit signs of rust would be if it has been fabricated in close proximity to any carbon steel fabrication, and then it can pick up ferrous dust during that process.
Stainless should never be "worked' or fabricated, particularly when there is any heat involved in the process, any where near where ferrous, or carbon steel is being fabricated.
There are international standards that apply to this very matter.

If they are telling you it is stainless and it is rusting, it either isn't stainless, or the above applies!
