Cooper S air vent on a normal Cooper?

Hi,

Is it possible to get an air vent (dont know what the name is ) like the Cooper S on a normal Cooper? I really like the look of it. Saw a few pictures of this on a normal Cooper and ONE.
Any1 know where i can do this and what it will cost?

Thanx

Im guessing you just get a Cooper S hood? Because Cooper hoods are totally different from Cooper S hoods, even if one made an opening for the hood scope, it will be mostly like that the scope will not fit properly. So my guess is to get a Coooper S hood, or just live with the cute look of Cooper.

Yep, get yourself a Cooper S bonnet if you want the vent. Many have done it.

My English is really bad . But what is a bonnet? Where can I get this? Can I fit it on a normal Cooper hood or do I need a Cooper S hood? How much will it cost?

Thanx

It's the same thing as a hood. It's what we call it in England. You need a Cooper S hood.

ok thank

I think a total new hood will be too expensive (with painting and fitting). So I dont think it is an option, Or there must be a other way to do it

Unless you are an expert at custom body modifications, the hood replacement is much cheaper than having yours modified. If you are an expert at custom bodywork, then you would know that the hours and materials required to modify your existing hood would not be worthwhile. Buy the hood you want, or better yet, take that money and trade your car for the "S" model. Then you will have all the goodies that actually go with that cool hood scoop.
