Well.... I'm sorry to bring this up again if this has already been discussed before.. but I've tried to search For an explain for my problem many times and still haven't gotten one yet .. so here it goes ...

1) I installed my PIAA LED lights 3 weeks ago with no problem during those weeks...just last thrusday when I turned on my MCSA my sister was in front of the MINI and she said the LED blubs were blinking very dimmly like I was going to go out of power or something .. and At the same time .. my " CHECK THE ENGINE LIGHT " came on ... I kinda freaked out .. I shut my engine off and turn it on 2 -3 times and it still stayed on..then decided to head out anyway ... so when I reach my local restaurant for dinner .. I park my MINI .. ate my dinner ( 40 mins or so ) .. came back out and the lights were gone !

Today .. I got the problem ... so I'm gonna let ym MINI sit for awhile to see whats going on ... and I'll try to pull out the LED and put back the Stock bulbs in to see if its the LED bulbs thats causing the problem....

I know of Member that had problems with their LED bulbs and the ECU going nuts ... so is there any solution to this problem ? I really don't wanna see my ENGINE LIGHT going off and on al the time ... thats going to be dangerous cuase I'll not be able to figure out if my MINI do have another problem ... thanks alot !

They shouldn't effect the engine light
But do flicker - I stopped selling them for this reason

Just now as I read through this other thread to the gas cap having something to do with the engine light problem ... I went outside to take out my fuel cap and open the fuel lid and let it Stay there.. start my MINI .. no EML light came on ??? the Engine light still on ... I shut off the engine ... put the fuel lite back in upside down ( so went its on tight the letters are upside down ) ... twist it with a little more force to make a GOOD CLICK ! ... then out of no where for some odd reason .. I decided to inserted my keys the other way around ( don't ask why .. I never keep track of how I insert my key ) .. the bottons facing the dash .. and GUESS WHAT !!!... my engine light went off for some reason !?!?!?!?!?
