Are my bonnets stripes off or done improperly? Check these pics and tell me if it's just me. If they are, could I make the argument that they were done improperly and have my dealer re do them?

If you go by the first photo the right stripe looks abit off. BUT if you look at the second photo and look at the markers such as the window jets it looks spot on.

Hrmmm. I see what your saying LMB. This is the only thing that's bothrering my about my cooper front. I feel like they're off but it might just be me.

Not to be the bearer of bad news but in my opinion the stripe is off! I see the point that if you look at the markers ie washer jets they look spot on but i think it is the angle that the stripe has been put on and not the overall position of it! Good luck getting it fixed I reckon that the dealer should sort it out for you!!!!

they look a bit odd not lining up with the spot lights, most ive seen the front end of the stripe lines up directly centered behind the spots but i'm not sure if they're 'supposed' to be done this way.

if you're not happy take it back

Ummm, have you thought about checking the stripes against various points with a tape measure?

I haven't tried that Kevin but that's a good idea. I'm not really sure if there are specific points where the stripes are supposed to line up with but my dealership should look into that for me. I'm taking the car in tomorrow to return the areo middle grill so when I do that, they can take a look for me.

I hate to say this, but it does look like the right is a bit off...based on both the first and second photo. As was already said...best to measure...

I took my car to the Dealership today and the service manager, from his desk, could see that my stripes were slightly off. :P

He said since they put them on, they would fix them for free. I just have to bring the car in tomorrow.
