Hi MINI lovers!

It seams like most MINI lovers want as much chrome as possible, but I dont, I would love my MCS to be without all the chrome. ( doorhandels , and gas lid is OK )
I have already changed the frontgrille to black, but iIwould love to get rid of the chrome around the headlamps, and of course the chrome"line" that goes around the whole car(below the windows).
Why is that in chrome, and the top one in black?
My opinion is the darker a MINI becomes the more "cruel and aggresive " it gets.
Never seen a Golf GTI with tons of chrome................................

Therefore, do you know anyone making or selling the above mentioned "chrome details" but in black???
Anyone else thinking the way I do????????

I'd say chroming really depends on the body colour of your mini. For instance, when i wanted a dark silver mini i thought the exterior chrome pack would compliment the look completely. But then i changed my colour to hyper blue and thought the chrome was not necessary and might have been overkill, so i ditched the idea.

Some people chrome away regardless - but i think those that don't usually do not because they have an idea of what sort of look compliments their car better.

We are in the same boat. My wife wants to dechrome her MCSC as well. We went with the aero grill and are looking to swap the roll hoops with the plain black ones. But would like to blacken the headlight rings and door handles as well as the ring around the greenhouse. She wants me to somehow put the 'S' symbols on the plain black side vents from a Cooper and swap our out. I may try that next.
