Offline | Extra wheels at dealers? I have seen several cars with the R90 wheels installed by the dealer. These are sitting on the lot with a sticker showing the extra $2,600 or so for the wheels. As I understand it, this price buys them without requiring a trade for the existing wheels. What are dealers doing with the wheels that originally came on the car? Has anyone who bought the R90 wheels been given the original wheels to use as spares? They have paid for them so should get them! 2007 DS/W MCS LSD, sport suspension, Enkei RPM2 wheels 2002 EB/W MCS Sport package, Rogue intake, Borla exhaust, 15% pulley & Madness sway bar |

Offline | As recently as earlier this week on eBay I saw a US MINI dealer (I forgot which one) selling multiple sets of brand new take-off MINI Cooper wheels. I can't find it now, so the dutch auction must have ended, but I'm sure we'll see it over and over again. + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed |

Offline | Anyone who gets the R90 wheels should ask for the original wheels. They can be used for a spare, snow tires or be sold so have value and have been paid for. I would like to hear the explanation from any dealer who refuses to hand over the old wheels. 2007 DS/W MCS LSD, sport suspension, Enkei RPM2 wheels 2002 EB/W MCS Sport package, Rogue intake, Borla exhaust, 15% pulley & Madness sway bar |

Offline | I was interested in them for my Red Cooper S and I asked the dealer. There was one being delivered with the R90 wheels installed. I was told the price was complete and I get the old wheels back. They had no use for them and did not want them in trade. PS My car is at the VPC. Anticipated delivery of 6/15. Car was born 5/02.
