hi,

i just thought about fitting this to my Mini One, as its a bit larger and looks better imo.
is it easy to fit? someone told me something about a screw at the bottom but i couldnt easily find it.

also, how much would it cost?

i bought one for my ONE for about £20, from the dealer (i think - it was a while ago) it's quite easy to fit, but i remember having to cut the end off the exhaust pipe to get the new piece of trim on.....

Villa Mini - was it the Cooper or One type?
The Cooper chrome exhaust trim is bigger and better looking (in my opinion) than the trim for the One. The question is - does it fit? i.e. is the diameter of the original tailpipe on the Cooper exhaust bigger than that on the One?

The "Cooper" one won't fit the "One" one as the Cooper Exhaust is much bigger without the standard trim, than the One Exhuast. Sorry.

what about the 2 trims for the cooper

they both say it adds some visual style and sporty sound but does the sport tailpipe add more power, like 2 to 3 hp?

how about the chrome tailpipe?

Theres sports exhuast and Chrome Trim. Trim does squat, I suspect so does the exhaust

I have the sports exhaust and it makes quite a large difference to the sound of the car but i have no idea about performance. Im not sure if is worth the £400 that bmw want for it though (i only paid £50). The cooper and one exhausts are the same size but the one exhaust has a rolled lip at the end which needs to be cut off if you want to fit the cooper trim.

I've done both the Cooper and One Exhaust tips, and my 'Accessory' Cooper trim would not fit my mates One as his exhaust tip was much smaller diameter than my Cooper even with the the rolled lip.
