Offline | BMW Aero Bodykit Question (really need help) hey guys.. im new to the mini2 forum im sorry if i placed my question in the wrong topic. So im ordering my MCS in a month and im thinking of installing the BMW Aero kit.. i have some questions since im not sure about some issues concerning the kit.. 1.is the BMW Aero bodykit included in the MINI optional equipment.. meaning can i order my MINI to come with the kit, or do i have to install my bodykit later on..? 2.Is the MINI lowered by the bodykit..? if yes by how much pls.. |

Offline | steve is being overly precise ![]() the aero kit is manufactured by BMW for the Mini, but BMW make other kits for BMW's (such as the 5-series) of course, which won't fit on a Mini for obvious reasons! |

| Maxin' and Relaxin' | my advice would be to get ur car delivered with standard bumpers then shop around different dealers for a price on the aero kit. my dealer wanted £1500 fitted for the kit but i ended up goin to another local dealer and payin £1100 and sold the old bumpers for £200 on ebay. moneys better off in your pocket than the dealers at the end of the day. or is this jus me bein a tight jock?? |

| Cruising In The Minge | definately order the aero kit once you get the car, not sure about the laws where you are but depending on how much you spend initially it may be up for a luxury car tax too, well at least thats the case here in Aus. ![]() 2002 PS/PS JCW MC 1970 BRG/W MK2 Morris Cooper S |
