Offline | Installing a Cooper S spoiler! Righty then, I've managed to get hold of a brand new, unfitted cooper S spoiler - it came with bolts AND the official bonding kit.. my question is - do I need to do both, or will just the bolts keep the spoiler on my car? 2nd Question - anyone that's installed one of these before.. any tips? Drilling holes in my car, and putting seriously adhesive glue on the back of it aren't things I particularly like doing, and want to get it right first time!! ALL and any information related to fitting it is much appreciated... 3rd and final question - the spoiler is currently black, and my car is Indi blue.. I've had a look at it on the car and it doesn't look out of place, but I am still undecided..... so - to spray or not to spray? That is the question. :P Cheers in advance! |

Offline | You should probably make it the color of your roof, you may regret it later. You could try to fit it first with bolts only to see how it holds, but I think the bonding kit is also there to prevent the spoiler scratching your roof when vibrating/moving. EB/W R53 MCS Highly Modified |
