| MINI2 Regular | JCW Mini badges....should these be standard? Now these are very !!!Check em out.... If my MCS was works'd I'd defo fork out £50 for these!!!!!! Anyone else think that these would be a nice touch for when you have the Works conversion as a factory accessory??? Much more subtle than the huge JCW metal badges on the front and rear bumpers!! | MINI2 Regular | Oh yeah, defo need to be top quality!!! I'm meaning that JCW should work with whoever makes the original MINI badges on some that have the appearance of these to fit to all Works converted cars!!!! It's the idea of JCW badges not these actually ones that I think would be a idea for JCW to look into!!!! Cheers, Matt |

Offline | i like the idea of a different badge for the works. On the classic mini-cooper s-works JCG used to supply the standard mini badge surround but with COOPER instead of Mini, and with a lovely read background which really stood out(unless your car was red). Something like that would look nice. I'll post a piccy if i can find one amongst all my momentoes. |

| Remember | I saw these at the Himley show on Sunday, the guy selling them also sells them as just the insert to go into your MINI wings on the car. Still £30 for the two, and he also does them to fit in the centre of wheels. The wheels ones tempted me, and he had all sorts of other designs too. But then I put my clear head on and remembered that for a sticker like this to be made in bulk, costs less than a pound each, so he is making a pile of cash on each sale and really ripping people off this was also confirmed by seeing that he was selling regular dealer parts, such as JCW sill strips for £55 (£40 at dealer), and then a load of parts off breakers for high prices![]() In the end I walked away ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | They are nice, I looked at them over the weekend as well.... I think the point is he isn't making them in bulk, certainly the JCW ones are new, they must be made by hand... he showed me an S one a couple of weeks ago and I asked him if he could do a JCW badge... still waiting for a price from him, as I said £50 quid for a pair was a bit steep and if I was buying a pair that almost constituted a bulk buy ![]() The stand he was on I think he was sharing, the Guy that actually makes them and sells them, is not the breakers bit... ![]() | MINIaddiction | | For MIDLANDS Folk in their MINI's | |
