I am about to buy some for my mini and wondered how they fit on

Hi Leemini -did you buy the chrome mirrors? did you buy them directly through the dealer? I was umming and ahhing whether to have chrome mirrors and ended up leaving it! Its too late to change my order now as my little mini is being built as we speak! (hurray!) I'm kicking myself now as its slightly more expensive to buy them afterwards isnt it! doh!

Hi lorbabes,

I might be wrong but I'm not sure the chrome mirrors are a factory fit, I had mine done by the dealer when it was delivered to them. I think it was about £80 at the time. You could buy some aftermarket ones, you can get 2 types, ones that stick over your existing mirror covers using 3m tape or replacement ones which are about £60 and replace your existing ones using clips. They would work out chaper than dealer ones and they are easy to fit yourself

thanks for replying!!!! thats interesting! i'll have to ring my dealer and find out where they are fitted! the list price is only 50 quid now which is why i wish i'd just picked them! In the mini extras brochure i got they are about 70quid if you add them later. i know its not a massive difference but i've still been kicking myself a bit!
