I have a 2002 cooper (non-s), do i have screws attaching my spoiler to my roof? I think they went on to change them and only used tape to secure them, but i think that i have screws right?

I think you probobally do, easiest way to check is open the boot and you will see 3 rubber plugs at the top - pull 1 of the side ones out and see if there is a bolt under it

Yes cooper and S spoliers bolt on Aero spoliers are bonded on.
