Offline | yellow/white, yellow/black, or all yellow??? I need your subjective opinions on a color choice. I was originally going for yellow/black but that's the color for most initial delivery cars in U.S. So I am also considering yellow/white or all yellow. I am kind of worried y/w may be too light or all yellow may be un-mini-like. What's your personal opinion? |

Offline | reiOO I was happy to see your post as I have been going through the same dilimma trying to decide on color. Road & Track and Motor Trend magazines both feature the MINI and MINI Cooper S on their covers in yellow/white. I just placed my order for a yellow/white S. A friend does not like yellow at all. I have been told yellow/white looks like an egg yolk. Yellow/black looks more masculine-a more masculine bumblebee.! Good luck deciding. Thank you minicoopersgirl for the photos. Joyce |

Offline | rei00 Mine's yellow/yellow too....I quite like white roof as well, but as I went for rather wild colour for interior(tartan red-see my thread My Cooper has arrived - unusual colour combo?), I did not want crashing colours. Anyway, take your time, cos I think it is all part of fun... ![]() |

Offline | Thanks to Minicoopersgirl and hiro for the pics. As luck would have it, as soon as I hit the submit button on this thread, I received a call from awesome and helpful Chrystal (Sterling VA MINI). I had to make a choice right then and there ..... arrgghh! So here it goes... All yellow S with MFSW, PDC, Xenon, DSC, front fogs, OBC, and cold weather. Now, don't make fun of me for getting PDC - I thought it was good investment although I never ran into any poles yet. hiro, I would not be adventurous enough to go with red interior even if the option available... you are very twisted but I like your taste. Now, only thing I have to come up is name for my car. I am a big fan of Japanese animation so I am tossing around names from my fave anime in my head now (motoko, mahoro, or chikage)... --------------------------------------- Cooper S with Cold weather, Fog lamps, MFSW, DSC, PDC, Xenon, OBC, BMP intake, All Liquid Yellow. |

Offline | I've been trying to decide about this too, I like yellow / white roof / white wheels. I was also looking at the rear spoiler and noticed that it sits above the roof line, so I'm not getting this option... it looks to much like an after thought. Should be able to find a nice aftermarket spoiler that looks better. retroom |

Offline | Corleone, Your yellow cooper looks fantastic with the white wheels and aero kit. I will order mine with white top and white wheels. I'm not too thrilled with your rear spoiler though, at certain angles it looks like Jesper Parnevik in his golf hat ...you know, with the brim up. The style of spoiler I'm looking for is more of a wing look not a ducktail look. Otherwise great job on the conversion.... retroom |
