Offline | If you have the old Xenons, complete with headlamp wash, it's a straight swap over. A complete bargain ( ) at about £650 for the parts only I'm going off to find the exact price for you..... Tigger. Got it, £630 inc VAT for parts only or £680 inc VAT fitted. Offline | You're welcome They really do look the business. Save yourself £50 and do them yourself. I changed my standard halogen ones over without any bother (see gallery). Assuming that the system is the same with the Xenons the important thing to remember is to park the MINI in a garage, turn on the headlights, raise the bonnet and then take some time to mark the position of the light beams on the garage ceiling. When you put the new headlamps in you can then use those marks to set the alignment of the new headlamps. I hope that helps. Tigger. |

Offline | The halogen headlamps just seemed to have the normal up / down and side to side adjustment. I'm not aware of any way to change from RHD to LHD with this lamp. The Xenons might be a different matter, I just don't know. I used to have a Renault 16 with standard fit Cibie headlamps. When you put the headlamp bulb into the reflector there were two positions that it could be fitted into; one for RHD and (by twisting it through 30 degrees or so) one for LHD. Ingenious! It's just a Pity I wrote it off though Tigger. |
