Offline | Top "S" grill in a Cooper bonnet Hi guys! Quick question. I'm beginning to collect pieces for my "S" bumper swap on my Indi Blue Cooper 2003. I have the bumpers lined up. However I want to put in a "S" grill into my Cooper bonnet (see user MINI GOLF for my inspiration). I've done a search and some people have said it can be done and some say it can't. However I've seen pics of the aero grill fit into a Cooper without alteration so I'm assuming that the "S" grill will fit the same? 1) Will an "S" grill fit into a Cooper bonnet? 2) Should I ditch the "S" grill and go for an Aero grill? Your advice and opinions are appreciated Garry ** OK after more searcingh I'm pretty sure that it CAN be done, but could someone confirm that this is the case for me! |

Offline | If the aeroo fits the Cooper and the S, then I would assume the S grill would fit the Cooper. My vote is to go with the Aero grill. We did it, and it was the best mod yet (haven't added to the power yet )Dain |

Offline | Thanks for the replies guys! What a wealth of knowledge we have here hahah Now that I know that both grills will fit I just think its a matter of deciding which grill (Aero or Cooper "S") I prefer. I'm kinda leaning towards the "S" grill due to the fact that I'm not sure how well the black of the aero grill will contrast with the dark blue of the bonnet, comparably to the chrome trim of the "S" grill. Add to the fact that the bottom aero grill is meant to be a bit^h to install. Anyway I've still got time to decide. Be a few weeks till I do the bumper swap. Anyone that wants to give their 2 cents on that matter feel free to chime. Garry |

Offline | S grill will definately fit, they're the same, I did it to mine before I fitted the Aero Kit. Personally, unless you intend to fit the lower Aero bumper gril then dont fit the Aero bonnet grill.. just my 2 cents..... or if you can get the lower MSC grill painted black then that might look good but the contrasting Black and chrome doesnt look good in my opinion. |
