Hi,

Over the last few years my cars have had parking sensors fitted. Now I am too lazy to move my head when I reverse, I would like to fit a kit to my MCS. I noticed a kit is available from Mini. Anyone fitted the kit, is it simple or can share instructions on how to fit it?

My mate had a kit fitted at halfords last week , great value £149.99 fitted ! Audi wanted £500 for a very similar kit.

Mini have quoted me almost £800 to have the Mini PDC retro-fitted.

It's the labour cost of doing it, installing the wires etc. A bit shocking when you consider its only £200 to have it from new.

I am just having to adjust from a car with PDC to one without now.

I was quoted £635 to have a kit fitted by my local dealer, so I've just picked up a kit from eBay for £36 inc postage. I will let you know how simple it is to fit

Here in the states, they make one in the license plate holder frame as an aftermaket add on. Also have a little camera that mounts by the plate light. Maybe available in the UK?
