[Mini-Trainer]

Hi all, I thought about taking the bull by the horns and going all out on the front/rear aerokit and side skirts.
I will be of course getting all of them re-sprayed in the body colour.
Does anyone know the following:~
1,Best price of each/all?
2,Where would be the best for respray dealers/private garage?
3,Would my car benefit from the Aerokit?
4,How easy are they to fit yourself?
It would really appreciate all comments cheers

1 I paid £1300 fitted and sprayed in body colour together with the wheel arches, but that's all part of a new order for MCSa due in Oct. Otherwise, as an add-on I haven't got a clue.

ur lucky, my mini dealer wouldnt touch my arches when spraying the aerokit, i had to go to an independant garage after, they said that thety dont do spraying on arches....!

i've took my fornt n rear bumper off b4 with no problem (took me around 2-3 hours, first time).... don't know about the side skirt....
so my guess is if u wanna do it urself, expect a good few hours!!!

if you plan on fitting it your self its easy

side skirts took me about 1 and a half hours make sure you order all new clips and the little grills

remove and refit front bumper about 30 minutes

fitting the grill a doddle

removing the rear is harder as it is fastenerd under the rear arches but should take no longer that an hour and a half

you should be able to get the kit for about 1100 quid already painted and it aint hard to fit really

Thanks Fevs it does, spoke to guy today about it and he said the same thing, that I have to buy new clips all round.
I'm doing the lot when I do it, side skirts, arches and bumper kits all getting re-spray body colour.
Ordering the side skirts in prima, do you know anyone who is thinking about a group buy on aerokits?
Gunna cost a bloody fortune!!! Ah well never mind

I managed to get the bumper off no probs when I fitted the Mesh Grill

no problems mate... but just a reminder.... if u r planing to use the aero grille, then u'll have to add the time to take off n refit those spots as well..... cos i have to cut mine off n refitted them!!!
