Offline | Hey guys! I'm relatively new to the board, though i've read a lot.. Today 20 days after i got my license, i managed to back up into another car with my gorgeus black MINI Cooper S I'm soo unhappy.. I was relativly lucky, but i got a few scrapes on the back left corner. Any idea how i can make it look good again? Do i need to change the whole body piece? Anyone had a simular problem? Can't stand the thought of my lil MINI looking like that.. Thank you for all your response, Fredrik NORWAY |

Offline | Any cracks or gouges in the plastic? If not, you should be able to wet sand out and respray any scratches in the paint. Is there any damage behind the bumper cover? If nothing else, you can take it to a reputable body shop to have it fixed 'good as new'. Good luck and sorry to hear about the accident, Dain |

Offline | Hm.. i just polished the car. Now it kinda looks like its dirty, you have to know I hit something to see it. Not sure if I should do anything els to it. It looks OK, but not as new Was probably bound to happen once, first car and license for such a short period of time. Stupid Thanks for the tip btw! Fredrik |

Offline | If it just looks dirty, you may be able to get away with just using a bit of rubbing compoundd and elbow grease to get into the paint layer a bit. Then buff it, apply some nice wax and buff that to a nice shine and see how it goes. Dain |
