Offline | Bumper droop on 2005 Cooper S (brand new) I have a brand new 2005 Cooper S (1 week old), and the front bumper is "drooping" - it rides about 3/16" (.5 cm) lower on the left than on the right. It's not loose - it feels pretty solid - but it is definitely lower. Is this at all normal? Is there some screw/bolt that I can adjust to fix this? Anybody else dealt with this? My dealer is almost 3 hours away, so I'd rather not drive over there just for this. Thanks! |

![]() MINI2 Regular | Hi and Welcome I had a similar problem with my MCS. The dealer told me it was a Mini characteristic! He changed his mind when he saw it. I had a larger gap between the bonnet and front bumper on one side. (have a look in my gallery at the pics) I took it back and they fixed it under warranty They only had it half an day and dealer said it was a simple job, just undoing some screws and clips on the bumper. Hope this helps, i had to get mine fixed it was annoying me! ![]() |
