Body Styling Prices

Hi,

Could anyone tell me how much it would cost from a dealer to get brand new front, rear and side Cooper S parts (bumpers, sills) etc. + would the black part of my standard Cooper bumper fit onto the Cooper S bumper (to enable me to keep standard Cooper exhaust - hopw you understand!)

I would go for the Aero Kit but I prefer the front of the S and I don't think it looks like I'm trying to be an S if I keep the badge, exhaust and bonnet the same as a Cooper - I might put Aero skirts on.

Firstly - I woul love your opinions on my idea (It's going on a Hyper Blue/White Cooper)

Secondly - prices:

Cooper S HB grille top + bottom
HB Cooper S front/rear bumpers
Cooper S sills
Aero Sills
Cooper S HB boot handle
Anything else you guys can think I might need

I have seen this done on a silk green Cooper (which now has aero kit on it and I think it's cool)

I just don't like the Aero front - although what is it like if you put in a Cooper S coloured grille instead of the black mesh?

Any ideas - hopefully you can all gather where I'm coming from!?

Thanks - sorry if I'm a bit confusing!

I think im right in saying mini dealers dont like crossing styling between there models, in other words they wont fit Cooper S styling or any other S part onto a mini cooper or one etc.
You need an S chasis number to order cooper S parts!

Id certainly go for aerokit if you want it fitted at the dealer.

You could of course buy some cooper S parts privately eg. ebay, and fit them yourself. Its not that difficult at all. There is plenty of info on here for guidance! I have fitted cooper S side vents, tailgate handle and skirts that where bought thru here and ebay!

Thanks but I'm sure my dealer will be ok if I wanted it done - although you're right some of the guys in parts are very peculiar about it!

It's a simple matter of finding a Cooper S outside the dealership (in the forecourt) and taking the chassis number from the windscreen and ordering it that way!

Strange

Anyway - I think I'll probably be happy enough once I get the car I just keep thinking of things to do to it as I'm bored waiting for it! I'm also thinking to make it look a little different taking the chrome grille and changing it to HB and also the front and rear chrome bumper inserts and replacing them with HB ones and also the coot handle in HB. Then putting a Cooper S fuel cap on it and maybe the chrome plain side vents from mossmini.com.

I just think the all blue from a Cooper S HB car is great looking! This may well be the cheapest option!

I'm sure those parts mentioned aren't to expensive - if anyone knows prices, let me know.

Thanks

Hi mate

I have the cooperS bumpers and exhaust on my One, a fantastic mod much cheaper that the aero kit, thankfully I was able to get the bumpers from Cooper ID which helped saved a few pound I fitted them myself in an afternoon, only difficult part is moving the front fog lights but all the other trim is just a straight swap from your standard cooper parts.

As far as I can remember the bumpers and side skirts from Bavarian where around 400 painted but don't quote me on this , I know AidenL had a set of Chili Red cooper S bumpers for sale a while back, might be worth contacting him

Aidens CooperS Bumpers

It certainly will make your car stand out and give it an individual look

I'm dealing with JKC Coleraine.

I think I heard that the Cooper S has different sized arches? Is this true and would it need to be taken into account when chaning a Cooper front bumper to a Cooper S?
