I got home on Friday to find a letter waiting from BMW to say my car need recalling and a fix doing. I've booked it in and they say its just a roof correction - I have a 2004 MCSC, does anyone know exactly whats wrong or had their call recalled?

Just a guess but it could be that they want to adjust the rubber stops in the roof mechanism. This is an adjustment that helps to stop the wear marks appearing in the roof fabric.
