Flat battery/Fault lights.

Guys and Gals, I hope you can help.

I went to the car (Cooper S) this morning and the key fob wouldn't open the car, the alarm kept going off and when I got into the car the battery was flat. The RAC came out and we got the car going again, it seemed to be just a flat battery....

Anyway, my run flat light and traction control lights are staying on, any ideas?

Also, it's had a Superchip fitted, and a few other mods but they aren't electrical....problem?

Once you have recharged the battery with normal driving, i think i have seen a post on here that said you can disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour and thick that will reset it ?
If i am wrong someone may correct me !! Regards Damian.
