Here's a little tip for everyone.....whilst polishing the prize possession (well my husband actually was doing all the hard work)....he used autoglym 'fast glass' to clean the inside of the windows. The product did such a good job, the glass was squeaky clean!!!! He then took the shiny-mobile for a spin....and could not hear the cd player for the 1 million SQUEAKS that had suddenly been created! Aaaaargh! He rushed home in a panic, re-polished the glass with Autoglym's Glass polish, went for another spin with his fingers and toes crossed and with a huge sigh of relief had cured the squeaks. So the products are brill but the 'fast glass' is only used now for the outside of the windows. .
(We also used the shampoo conditioner made by the same company and it really brought out the paint colour brilliantly)
Our Cooper is March 2002 build we have done 6500 miles so far and have had no problems.
