Offline | Does anyone know how to remove the rear plastic trim that has the side-marker ? I accidentally damage the trim and need to replace it. It is very cheap, but I am not sure how to remove it. It looks like I have remove my rear tire first. The rear side-markers are only on US models (I think). Do I have to remove the side-marker before I can remove the plastic trim ? Anyone know ? Thanks for the help ! Silver/Black Mini Cooper 5-Speed, Sports Pkg, Chrome bumpers, Leather Steering Wheel, Black Leatherette |

Offline | You got a picture of that? If you're talking about the wheel-arch extenders, space-cadet posted an excellent response to my RFI on that exact subject... If the side markers are simply built in to the wheel-arch extenders, then you could follow the info in that post. If it's totally different - apologies If you can't find the post, let me know and i'll tell you how it's done! (Basically, with the removal of a couple of screws, everything can be pulled off!). Offline | Thank you for the reply. I found the post. I think we are talking about the same pieces. I actually only need to replace the corner piece. Do I have to remove the wheel arch before I remove the corner piece ? In US model, there is also a side-marker clip onto the corner piece, but I already order a new one, so I dont have to worry about taking the old side-marker and putting on to the new piece (It is very cheap no need to waste time to take it out and put it back. I probably will damage it the the process anyway). Big question: did you guys remove your tire before you undo the screw at the top of the corner piece ? Thanks !
