I Have Been Driving Some Long And Short Distances Since Ive Recieved My Mini, And While Driving A Have Had To My Attention That There Is A Rattling Noise Coming From The Dashboard, On 1 Of The Airconditioning Vents, Above The Speedomiter Or Feul And Temp Guages.

I Was Just Wondering If Anyone Else Has Discovered This Problem In Their Mini, I Recently Bought Mine In June 2005 And Im Wondering If Anyone Has Had The Same Problem Prior To This Year/model.

I had a rattle like that in an older MINI, took the dash top off and stuck some foam at some contact points, cured.

Sound's Like A Trip To Your Dealer,get Him To Remove The Top Roll And Checkthe Security Off The The Airbag As Well Sometime's They Can Resinate And Fool You Into Thinking The Noise Is In Another Place
