Today i heard this strange rattle in the passenger door, when i tried fiddling with the electric windows i found that the window won't go down at all, just makes one click noise, have checked the fuses and haven't blown that.

Anyone else had this happen to them? Not happy Jan!!

Sounds like it needs a new window motor, had both of mine done under warranty.

hit the inside door panel as hard as you can just above the speaker, thats a temp fix till you get a new motor fitted

Yep happened to me as well drivers side, wife put window up for me as wind was blowing on baby, went to put it down about 15min later ...no worky ...then checked the fuses just like you .

Tried banging the door as per other post ...many times ...still not working, any more suggestions?

I was going to go on MINI run tomorrow ...need window down

I've done the same as well checked my fuses for my passenger window but everything is a-ok...

I still hear clicking noises coming from the passenger side door panel... so i left my motor for a few weeks and during those times they tend to work sometimes... but recently its just kept working again like normal... but i've talked to a guy at trivett spare parts and he and another customer told me to get it checked out by an auto electtrician before replacing the motor.. they said might just be something little or a broken spring or something..

Thats just my experience with my coopers passenger window motor...

I've just had this happen to me today, with the window stuck in the up but you can open the door position if that makes sense. I was wondering if anybody that previously reported the problem on this thread had had it fixed and if so what the actual cause was and how much it cost to repair (I'm just over 2 weeks out of warranty

My drivers side window was fixed a month ago... the motor had gone... and I remember b4 I bought the car I saw it and the dealer was havin' the passenger side window fixed...this seems to be a rather common problem... GRRR!
I tried hittin' the door panel to get the window working again but it just didn't work... but my window wouldn't work and then one day it worked and then it just stopped again... DOUBLE GRRR!

Well gave it a thump as suggested and it's started working again so I'll wait and see how long it lasts.
