The right rear suspension arm on my Mini One is hitting the exhaust heat shield consistently, and there is an incredible amount of rattling from several rear components. The service team recommends replacing the rear suspension (after only 3.5 months?)

I've scheduled a chat with the dealer, but would like to know in advance whether anyone else is having similar issues - and the the whole extended family of rattling rear components.

No problem like that on my MINI ONE.

If the dealer is recommending replacing the whole system I'd go for it.

Thanks for the response. That's what I'm tempted to do... still, when the car SHOULD be perfect and isn't. It's a July 2001 build I discovered. Anyone looking at buying one should stay well clear of 2001 cars perhaps.
