Offline | Clicking from under near side sill..... For a while now I've been hearing a metallic clicking noise coming from what sounds like under the passenger sill. It only clicks when pulling away or lifting off (when the car naturally jerks slightly under acceleration or deceleration), so always just assumed something was a bit loose. Had a reason to take the Minx to Barons this morning though to get it looked at. Turns out she needs a new driveshaft. She's now just over two years old, 33000 miles. All covered under warranty of course... just added it to the list of parts i've had replaced ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Update... The Minx went in yesterday to have the ns/f drive shaft replaced! All done under warranty and she feels like a new car! All tight at the front end, pulls in a straight line... much better. ![]() |
