hi all need some help ... my mini is dead, went out to it this morning and it is totally dead central locking dont work, ignition nothing , no lights on dash, basically no power at all, nothing works... checked battery .thats ok, checked started motor thats ok... any help needed please ?????

Uh oh.....battery? Oops...just read you checked battery. How about battery connection?

Check all the fuses are ok.

if thats a no go then thats just weird! How did you check the battery??

Have you checked main fuses

Hey there,

The battery has 2 disconnects ( USA models do anyway ) - on the POS + side of the battery you will see 2 cables - one with a block on it the other has the block under the car ( I think ). These blocks are disconnects that shut off all power to the car in the event of a accident or major short circuit - I would check these to make sure they are not disconnectd.
