Angry Leaking Rad Header Tank

I have a March built 2003 MCS and over the last couple of weeks i have noticed a white stain along the seam of the header tank, also sometimes a small amount of water.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
Went to the Stealers today and too my surprise a new tank was only £12 + vat. Asked if they knew of this problem, they said they have changed a few.

Mine is leaking out the lid slightly. I think its because it had been over-filled and its just pushing out the excess. I just keep cleaning it up and watching the levels.

I had the same problem last year, but was a little more extreme it had totally emptied!!!,girlfriend was driving it and saw temp guage rocket............I called Mini assistance and the chap who came out replaced it and said it was that common he carried at least five replacement tank in his 5 series estate..........so I would assume it is yet another common fault on a Mini

Hope this helps
