Offline | There are realy only two things that can stop a heater working. As DaFlake said, the thermostat could be stuck. If you have a temperature guage, and that is not getting to normal, the thermostat is probably stuck. To check it properly, wait for the car to be cold, and start the engine. Open the bonnet and feel the radiator. Wait for the radiator to heat up. The radiator should stay completely cold until the engine is at the right temperature, then get hot very qucikly as the thermostat opens. If the radiator gets warm slowly, the thermostat is stuck. Other than that, the heater controls aren't moving the air flaps in the ventilation system. Then what you have to do depends on how mechanically minded you are and if the car has climate control. |
