MINI2

Hi

I have had my mini for a week now, it is a mini one 2002 model with 26 K on the clock. During the last week I have been driving in heavy rain and on both occations I have had some splashes water in the foot well at the end of the journey. When I have investigated the water apeared to be driping from under the dash board, possible out of the air vent.

I am going to phone the dealer tommorow but wondered if this is a common fault ?. Any info which will help me with the dealer would be welcome.

P.S. it is fitted with the Automatic Air Con.

Ok, I had EXACTLY the same problem which fortunately was fixed under warramty as my MINI is only 4 months old. The problem is the lower door seal. This was replaced along with the carpet which was soaked and the MINI has been out in absolutley torrential rains since without any more leaks. Good kuck.
