Hi, I have just noticed recently that the steering on my 02 One feels loose. If I am driving in a straight line and turn the steering wheel about 1cm either way there is no response - is that normal? I can't really remember if it's always been like this but I thought the steering was meant to feel kinda GO-Kart like , which mine doesn't. There's also a clunk / knock that I occassionally feel through the steering wheel when I'm making sharpe turns or parking. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi. I have an '02 S and the steering on mine is actually very very tight and does feel go-kart-like now that you mention it. I don't have to move the wheel very much at all to miss a pothole or something of that nature.

I don't have any idea what possibly could be wrong with yours (sorry) but I hope I was of some help.

Hi, Yeah thanks for the info - I think it's the steering column that needs replacing or some part of it anyway - If it gets worse I will have to get it fixed - which I think may leave a nice hole in my pocket
