Thought i should let people know, just had the gear selector fixed @ my local dealer, and found that there had been another recal to deal with the battery tray(did i miss this in the news?)

Must say they fixed promplty and even cleaned it inside and out, tops!

well... with a gearbox recall I'm guessing cooper - what was wrong with the battery tray??

sorry, not enough information!!

Cooper, my example being a MARCH 02 model

I wonder how many more things are going to go wrong?

I can see the S calling me!!!

Moved this into Faults and Fixes, as a "recall" is a fix really, for future reference.
