i was just woundering if any1 new why does my new mini cooper wind its windows down all by itself when the car is locked!!! its done it twice now!

This has happened to me, if you hold the unlock button on your remote they will wind down and this can happen if your keys are in your pocket and the remote gets leaned on, I believe it is possible to get this feature disabled by your MINI dealer if it causes problems.

I would just like to add that even when my MCS is in the garage and the keys are in the house, the door locks can still be activated by pressing (accidentally or otherwise!!) the keyfob. I've never accidentally opened the windows, but windyrich is quite correct - it could happen.

I no longer keep the key in my pocket.
