Offline | gear shift stuck!!!! can someone explain what just happened. I drove my car tonight and it was fine just fine, then i parked it and got back in after around two hours. The gear shift was stuck in first gear and would not pull out. Really stuck. So i pulled really hard to the point where i thought i would break something, and it popped out into neutral and was a little stiff. I then got out to see if there was any leakage or debris under the car but nothing, so i got back in and it was fine. I drove it home and it was fine the whole way home. My thoughts are it was cold out, (around 19 degrees) and something froze. or there was a rock or something stuck up there and somehow lodged it self in the linkages and then came free. Any ideas, and should i take it in? |
