Angry damn yellow warning light

i've changed bth sets of pads on my 04 jcw including the padwear cables and the yellow light on the dash is still illuminated.
any ideas guys?

You have to reset it.

Turn key to position two on the ignition. Press and hold the run flat indicator, release. Press and hold again, then release. Keep doing this until the pad warning light goes out. Can take some time to persuade it!

It was acceptable in the 80's

Wait til you try the procedure above to try and get it to go out! As I said it can take some persuading

i have the same problem with my yellow loght but hmm me being me isnt exactly too sure on what the run flat indicator is..??

It's the little button down by the handbrake lever.

My post should read runflat indicator reset button.

The button is under the handbrake for resetting the runflat indicator This is a warning that lights on the speedo if the car detects a puncture in one of the wheels.

It was acceptable in the 80's
