Sweden Help!!!!!

I have a S 2002 and last night after parking the engine fan wouldn't go off.
I disconnected the battery and tried this morning when the car was cool and the fan started directly, went for a short tour to see if it would stop going.
But no and it would still be going if I dint disconnect the battery.
Anybody nows what the problem could be???

Probably a bad relay, replace it and you will know.

I have a MCS 05 - and twice today have noticed the fan go on high after I turn off the car. I let it go for a few minutes, then got back in & turned the car on again, the fan stopped, I turned the car off again, and the fan stayed off.
Have I been ignoring this the last two years?
I took the car in for annual service 2 months ago, and had the windshield replaced a couple of weeks ago, no other work done.

Check your coolant levels to make sure that you are not overheating.

If the fan was going this morning when cold it must be an electrical issue. I would bank on the relay or the thermo switch.

I'll check the coolant levels tonight.

So far, it has only happened when arriving home during the late afternoon - so heat is a logical factor. My street and driveway are pretty steeply uphill, that might be significant.

It hasn't happened when driving to work, or arriving home late at night.
