Runflat light and overheating warning for no reason?

Bizarre finding this morning. I started my 52 Cooper, and the runflat light was on, with the engine temp at max. It stayed this way for about a minute before I reset runflat and turned it off to see if there really was a problem. There was enough coolant and oil, and none of my tyres appeared to have lost any pressure. I then restarted the car and the temp was fine and no runflat light on. Was this an electrical glitch or an early warning of potential electrical failure/other problems?

Thanks,

Pedro

I had the same thing with the Runflat light coming on in my 02 One for the last 2 weeks, it's been coming on completely randomly, the first couple of times i got out and checked and there appeared to be no flat tyre, i have checked the pressure since, all fine. It has come on about 5 times in 2 weeks now does anyone thing this might be a problem developing on my car?

Electronic stuff work as **** here. Though it never happened with me. But, sometimes I park my car & leave it, where I notice the brake lights are on!
