Took the car in for a little tlc this week, had a small dent when i collected her (cherished) and some annoying rattles had developed in the drivers door and sunroof.

This is the 2nd time they have tried to fix the rattling sunroof for me. This time however they state that it is a problem with the sunroof cassette which is making it rattle (like crazy) and rattles arnt covered by the warranty £2,500 please!!!!

How much!!!!! good lord i think i'll just have to live with it for now, crank up the stereo and look through all the various fixes on here and see if i can sort it myself.

Has anyone else been fobbed off like this?

Should I approach Mini myself re a warranty claim/goodwill payment or insist the dealer does this on my behalf? Any thoughts appreciated

Just keep at em in a polite way !!!!! I got a new radiator and half the labour from a local stealer last year on my 4 year old cooper !!!!! Total cost to me was £73 !!!! RESULT !!!!
