The plastic panel is coming of the back of the front seat
I have banged it back on but it is coming of again.
Is this a dealer fix?

Same thing happened to me. I took it to my dealer and they ordered a new seat back. When it arrived (4 days later) they replaced it while I waited. It has not popped off again and it was replaced on May 29th (got my Cooper on May 9)...

Mine came off too. Got a replacement but it is off a bit too. I find if I don't dink with it the gap is very small -- with the previous one, the more popping it back on I tried, the worse it got. I don't know if I want to bother getting another one unless it gets worse... If this is the only fault on the car I'll consider myself lucky (if only rocks and cyclists would stop hitting it...).
