I have 2002 Mini Cooper and I was on my way home last nite and for some reason the passenger Window would not go down.
I’ve check the fuse and its fine I press the button on the dash and I hear tick noise but still the window will not move any ideas?

I feel so bad drivin so hard!

Window motor is stuck. Usually can be freed off by giving the inside of the door a good thump near the handle while holding the button down. More than likely only a temp fix and will prob need a motor in the near future.

Also try holding the button up for about 10 seconds - has been known to reset things for a while anyway.

If none of this worked, then try holding the "unlock" button down on the key down for a count of ten. This should roll both windows down.
Please post resolution.

Hey Mini-G, did you find a resolution to this?

My driver's side window won't roll down now.

Thanks

This hitting thing is traditional...when I was first driving in the 60's, every Brit car I had came with a big mallet. I think Mini should reinstitute the tradition!
