Offline | My MINI is ALIVE I tell you! Ok well... tonight went out to McDonalds for dinner... haha all my windows were up.... came back to the car and the windows were down a little.... like enough to put your hand in.... I'm 99.9% that they weren't like that when I left the car parked, they were all the way up... anyways came home and then my dad goes " Your sunroof is open" I was like "What!!!"..... I don't use my sunroof so somehow my MINI has lowered the windows and opened the sunroof all without me doing any of it! Anyone else had something like this happen? |

Offline | Yep. Happened to me. You must have comfort/covienient opening which is when you press and hold your open button on your key fob and the windows and sun roof open as you hold down the button. Can happen unintentionally like you describe. If you held your unlock button for too long your windows would have started to open. As soon as you let go of the button the windows stop making you think you've left them open slightly. MINI have removed this option as standard on MINIs now as some people were doing this without knowing and returning to find their windows wide open. Its now a programmable option. I love it cos you can open your windows before you arrive to you MINI! If you do it by accident and want to close them again without getting in and starting up the engine/power, put your key in the drivers door and turn the key to lock your mini, If you hold it twisted at lock position for a few seconds your windows and sun roof will close again. Hope this has helped a bit. |

Offline | definitely useful to know! I showed my friend whos just recently bought a 2001 Cooper what it could do via the key fob and the door lock and she was very impressed. Showed her the follow me home lights too. Very cool functions and I like how quirky they are! Now you'll have to have a play when your with your MINI again. |
