Hi

I have a 2002 R53 with the factory xenons. sometimes the left headlight wont turn on, i have to try again 2-3 times until it does come on. This problem used to happen once a blue moon, but now it seems to be more frequent. Does this happen to anyone???

Could be a failing igniter. Does it sometimes go off after being on for a bit?

I had a problem with mine at one point. The left light would flicker and sometimes the window wipers would go crazy.

It turned out to be a loose earth strap for the lights.

the light stays on. Atm its only occuring say...once in 2-3 weeks. it must be a loose connection or something, maybe not even considering it does stay on. Only prob is that sometimes i dont notice that one headlight is not working, and then only realising after a while. Not a big deal considering that i can turn it back on again. ahhh but its annoying haha

I have exactly the same problem with my left light for the past two years. It's only when it's a bit cold outside and the last few weeks it didn't turn up. But I already have a complete new headlight on the shelf from eBay since these things cost the world at the stealers. I'll chaneg it when it doesn't come one at all anymore.
