Hey Guys,

Just bought a 2004 cooper, been wanting a mini forever now. Only problem I've had is that the driver's side door will not unlock with the remote. It does however unlock when I put the key in the door. I thought that the locking mechanism could be bad, but the door will lock fine with the remote, but wont lock with the center console.

Any Ideas? Thanks in advance...

does it make any sound at all? even a clunk or any kind?

Yes, when using the key fob to unlock it does, however when I attempt to lock the door from the console there is no noise at all.
