Offline | This thread is a misnomer, the steam that is being reported is not steam at all, it is water vapor (evaporation of water). Steam is really hot, over 212 deg F, water vapor is not. Since this has generated some worry, I thought it would help to put it to rest. At certain envoronmental conditions (cool and humid), water vapor can appear to the naked eye, most of the time it is invisible. |
