Hi i have a MCS 06 and it rattles like crazy. The rattle is there when the car is idleing and when i pull away it stops. i have a Milltek fuill system. The rattle sounds like tin hitting the exhaust directly underneath the passanger side. Could it be the heat shield???
Let me know if you guys have had this same problem. thanks@!!!!!!!

Only one thing for it, you're going to have to get the car up on a ramp and shake the exhaust really hard, you'll soon hear if it's making contact somewhere.

I had this problem with a previous car; my local garage replaced a rear shock absorber before we finally worked out that the rattling noise was the exhaust making contact with the car's body!

heat shields do rattle- they are held by 10mm capnuts which are not great -you can tape the edges of the heat shields with thick aluminium tape this stops all rattles or use a "seal tape " a sticky double sided strip( a bit like black chewing gum that goes under the shield )

I used a 4" stainless steel hose clamp on another vehicle with rattling heat shield - worked like a charm.

Sounds like it could be the insides of your resonator have collapsed.
Put it up on a hoist & shake the exhaust sections.
