Offline | Heya, i am in need of some help !! My revesring light has stopped working and i'm sure its just the bulb, the only problem is that i cant get the light fixing out of the bumper. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to remove the light fixing. My car is a 2002 Cooper S (i think the fact that the exhausts are in the centre is the problem !!) Many thanks Harriet |

Offline | To remove the rear light unit, reach up behind the bumper, squeeze together the retaining clips at each end of the unit and push it from the bumper according to the Haynes manual. If you can't reach it perhaps taking off the rear bumper might help. |

Offline | As Widgey says you need to get your hand up between the heat shield and rear bumper(not easy) you can pull the bumper outwards to get some room feel about then squeeze the clip and it will come out there's no need to remove the bumper. |

| Cooper Reborn | After changing to the Aero Kit, I found mine was out as well, but mine turned out to be the Reversing Switch on the gear box. If it turns out to be that, few quid from a dealer plus 5min and its fixed. dead easy to change. ![]() Life is not about the amount of breath's you take.............. Offline | I never bother removing the light. I just take hold of the bulb holder, twist anticlockwise & release mike NewMINIStuff.com |

Offline | No - been battling with them for a while - the only diadem they will sell to the aftermarket is the indicator one - the others they won't as they are 'contracted' to Mini & Range Rover |
